Advice from the Experts
Tennis
is a sport for a lifetime
and anyone can learn tennis
at any age. I've run national
tournaments for players
in their 70's. Wherever
you vacation or live there
will always be opportunities
to play and take part in
an outdoor activity with
family and friends . Here
in Delaware there are leagues
for adults and children
sponsored by the USTA and
tournament play for all
levels. There are also many
locations offering private
and group lessons. Tennis
is unique in that you can
actually participate with
your child during a lesson
or even tournament.
Quickstart
Tennis developed by the
USTA is the new way to play
and learn tennis. Quickstart
uses foam balls, smaller
rackets and nets and anyone,
especially children ages
5-12, can play right away
even if they've never held
a racket before. Give the
sport for a lifetime tennis
a try . You'll be glad you
did.
